Coronavirus not only choked the entire economy of China but also its spreading in 109 countries has taken the whole word in its grip hindering commercial, financial as well as social businesses. To stop it from spreading rapidly further, many measures are being adopted although it has already crossed the borders of its origin place and stared threatening people worldwide. China’s economy has gone into fully inactive phase as well as the same is happening with other economics, in which it is spreading its deadly claws. As paint and coating industry is also an integral part of any economy, this chain of changes will have a negative impact on raw material suppliers too.

In this concern, it was also stated in a press release that a minute eye on of raw material, intermediate suppliers and logistic providers. Jeffrey Shaw, chief supply chain officer, Sun Chemicals said “ managing our customer orders, inventory levels, in transit Proactively shipments and open order level is a critical path fur us”. He further added that at this critical point of time, they have established control team to manage each of these areas and go through the required precaution so that any supply disruption may be handled properly. They are also focusing materials from China and other high risk region that supply to them. He further added that they would continue to keep their valuable customers updated during the process. He gave the assurance that they would do their possible best to minimize the disruption. Besides it, corona virus have proved to be the reason of cancellation or postpone of many events. It not only hindered the trade fair program in China but also affected many other trade fairs and exhibitions worldwide. An event for the paints, coatings, inks, construction chemicals and adhesive-sealant industries that is PAINTINDIA 202 was to be organized on 11^th Mar 2020  in Mumbai, India. But it hard to be postponed to next year due to be threat of coronavirus as many positive cases of virus infected have be detected in India too.
